Jane de Leon, 24, has found herself under the spotlight after revealing in an online post that her mother recently got into an accident.
KAMI learned that in an Instagram post made on Monday, March 13, the Kapamilya star uploaded a photo of her mom at the hospital.
The 24-year-old actress went on to explain to her fans and followers why she has been inactive on social media lately.

In the caption of her online post, Jane said the accident happened last week, on a Friday and that her mom has to undergo surgery today.

However, it is worth noting that Jane did not divulge any details as to what kind of surgery her mom had to undergo after the accident.
"Our mom got into an accident last Friday and today is her surgery. It breaks my heart to see her in this situation. I'm doing my best to stay positive and make her smile even though she is in pain. Also, sorry if I'm inactive. We are taking care of our mom. I want to thank all the people who helped us. Thank you @ellemendoza_ @paulpatrickjuan for accompanying me yesterday! Please pray for the success of our mom's surgery," she wrote.
