Jane de Leon, in her recent interview with Ogie Diaz, shed tears as she talked about her late father, as well as the hardships that she and her family faced before.
On Wednesday, August 7, KAMI learned that Ogie released their interview on his official YouTube channel where he asked Jane about her life.
According to Jane, after her father had been tricked by one of his best friends, the latter stopped working and became a househusband.

In the interview, Jane recalled how her family was not able to eat since they did not have any money at all with them.

"Yung hirap talaga namin, wala talaga kaming makain na asin lang po talaga yung kinakain namin," she began to which Ogie asked, "Asin? Bakit asin?" Jane then answered, "Kasi walang-wala po talaga kaming pera."
According to the Darna star, her mother's salary was not enough for the whole family which is why they did not have a proper meal.
"Yung sweldo po ni mama, hindi po yun enough samin. Minsan, yung kinakain na lang namin, asin tapos alam niyo po yung toyo na may mantika," she recalled.
Eventually, Jane cried as she remembered her late father, expressing her sadness over not being able to let her dad experience their life now.
"Kung nandito si Papa talaga, kung ano man yung naranasan niya since nung bata siya, pati yung niloko pa siya. Gusto ko po talaga palitan po lahat yun kaso wala na po si Papa," she said.
