Erwin Tulfo took to Facebook to air his opinion towards Rappler's Pia Ranada's rudeness towards the palace guard recently.

According to the news anchor, he felt it was his moral obligation to enlighten his fellow media men.

Mr. Tulfo stressed that the palace guard was not trained to answer questions from the media people.

He also added that the guard did not really knew where the order came from as they do not have the right to question orders.

They are just expected to obey rules and commands given to them.

Being courageous in reporting is okay according to him but it should be done right. Ranada should have asked or called the right people like Secretary Roque or Andanar to answer why she was barred from entering the Palace according to the broadcaster.

Erwin Tulfo also lectured Ms. Pia about being respectful when doing interviews. He cited about the instance where the Rappler reporter asked questions to the president where she have gone a bit far as she was disrespectful according to many netizens.

Mr. Tulfo also said that a reporter should not be known for making fake news as this will affect one's credibility.

He also reminded Ranada that being a reporter does not mean you have the right to be rude.
