The “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” Kapamilya Big Winner served as one of the judges for the “Miss Q&A” segment on Wednesday, September 9, alongside Verna Joy Periwinkle and Marina Summers.
Toward the end of the segment, Brent was asked whether someone who truly loves a person can still choose to let go. The question prompted him to share his personal perspective on the matter.
“May nagmamahal ba na bumibitaw?” Brent repeated.

“Ako, naniniwala ako, oo. Lalo na sa mga pagkakataong siya mismo ang humiling sa ‘yo. ‘Pakawalan mo na ako.’”
For Brent, letting go can also be an act of love when it is what makes the other person happy. He explained that someone who genuinely loves another person should be willing to put that person’s happiness first, even when doing so means walking away.
“Kung totoong nagmamahal ka, ibibigay mo ‘yong ikakasiya niya kaya bibitawan mo na siya,” he added.
