Heart Evangelista looked back on her student days with a humorous confession after being asked how she would respond to a classmate who was caught cheating.

The actress was among the celebrities who shared their opinions during the September 6 episode of GMA’s comedy game show The People Have Spoken. The episode featured a playful face-off between Team SanKai, composed of First Yaya stars Sanya Lopez and Kakai Bautista, and Team DoniTay, composed of comedians Donita Nose and Tetay.
The teams were asked what they would do after discovering that an honor student was secretly using a cheat sheet. They had to choose between reporting the classmate to the teacher or copying the answers themselves.
Kakai and Sanya opted to do what they believed was right by reporting the cheating student.

"Kasi maraming inggiterang Pilipino," biro ni Kakai.
"Siyempre, naniniwala pa rin ako na may values pa rin ang Pilipino when it comes to school. Ibang issue ito. Honor student? Bakit ka naging honor student? Ibig sabihin, nangongopya ka lang? Ay, mali! Dapat isumbong sa teacher! Dapat ma-expel!" gigil na dagdag niya.
Team DoniTay initially gave a more mischievous response, saying they would copy the answers first before reporting the student. However, Donita Nose eventually clarified that they would still choose to report the classmate.
"I do believe in you. Naniniwala ako na may mga ganoon. Da't may estudyante kung kailangan patunayan mo na matalino ka, matalino ka. Hindi ka dapat nangongopya," paliwanag ni Donita.
"Kaya ikaw, bilang teacher ka, dapat inaayos mo mga estudyante mo!" patawang gigil na dagdag pa niya.
Tim Yap, meanwhile, gave an unexpectedly candid answer when asked about the situation. The celebrity admitted that he was not an honor student and had also copied answers during his school days.
"Hindi ako honor student. Actually, nangongopya ako noon. Aminado naman ako dun," ani Tim.
He then revealed his humorous strategy whenever he had access to a cheat sheet.
"Pero ginagawa ko, kinukuha ko 'yung kodigo, pinapasa ko sa lahat. Share kaming lahat. Tapos ako rin magsusumbong! Lahat na para bida ako sa mga classmates ko, bida rin ako sa teacher ko! Kaya isusumbong. Isusumbong ko 'yung sarili ko."
Heart, for her part, also became unfiltered when she recalled her own experience as a student. Instead of simply giving a hypothetical answer, she took the opportunity to apologize to her former math teacher while thanking the honor student who apparently helped her back then.
"Ang hirap kasi ng algebra. Malay ko naman sa x, kemerut, tapos nagmo-move to decimal how many times. Nangopya po ako," cute confession ng aktres.
She then jokingly addressed her former teacher and admitted that she was not perfect.
"Sorry na talaga. Hindi naman ako perfect. So ang sagot ko ay B," patawang sinabi ng aktres.
Despite the comedians’ playful answers, the People ultimately sided with reporting the cheating student. Both teams earned points in the round after 59% of the surveyed audience chose to report the classmate to the teacher.
The episode showed how the celebrity participants turned a simple school dilemma into a lighthearted discussion about honesty, academic values and their own experiences as students.
