A 17-year-old boy died after he was allegedly beaten and stabbed by four people in Capas, Tarlac, according to a report aired on GMA’s Balitanghali.

Police are looking into the loud sound of the victim’s motorcycle as a possible reason behind the incident.

According to the report, one of the minors taken into custody said they were bothered by the noise coming from the motorcycle.

A related GMA News report said the incident happened in a secluded area in Barangay Lawy. The victim was reportedly with another person at the time.

The witness managed to run away and hide while the victim was left behind.

Police Lieutenant Anthony Garcia of the Capas Police Station also shared part of the witness account.

“Yung victim naiwan pero yung witness, nakatakbo at nakapagtago,” he said.

The officer added that investigators were told the group had been disturbed by the sound of the victim’s motorcycle exhaust.

Authorities later arrested four individuals in connection with the case.

Three of them were minors and were identified as children in conflict with the law, or CICL. They were aged 14, 17, and 17.

The minors were placed under the care of social welfare authorities following their arrest.

The Balitanghali report also said no complaint was filed against the 14-year-old.

Meanwhile, the fourth person arrested, who is 18 years old, was charged in connection with the incident.

Investigators are still working to establish the full sequence of events.

Police have not released further details about the specific roles allegedly played by each of the individuals who were arrested.

The family of the victim had also not released a statement regarding the incident.

Recently, a mother and her 13-year-old son were injured after they were allegedly attacked with a bolo while sleeping inside their home in Barangay Paril, Cebu City. According to a report on GMA's Unang Balita, the incident happened after the 22-year-old suspect reportedly caused trouble during a dance in the barangay. Police said the suspect became involved in a disturbance at the gathering. The father of the young victim and husband of the woman reportedly approached him and asked what was happening.
