Viral content creator and entrepreneur Jayson Luzadas, better known as Boss Toyo, once again used his influence for a cause beyond social media after leading relief operations for earthquake victims in General Santos City.

Among the first groups to respond following the series of destructive earthquakes, Boss Toyo and his team immediately mobilized aid to communities that suffered significant damage. Their efforts prioritized Barangay Lagao, Barangay Bula, and Barangay Dadiangas West, along with other affected areas across the city.

The team distributed food packs and essential supplies to residents who were dealing with the impact of the disaster. Many beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the prompt assistance, which provided much-needed relief during a difficult time.

In another report, Manny Pacquiao expressed his sympathy for families affected by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Southern Mindanao. The former senator launched a relief campaign through the Manny Pacquiao Foundation to help support ongoing recovery efforts in the affected communities. He encouraged public donations through various platforms, including PayPal, Apple Pay, cryptocurrency, and GoFundMe, to widen assistance for victims. Relief operations are already ongoing, with aid and supplies being distributed to areas that are difficult to reach.

Meanwhile, two male models initiated a fundraising effort after their family was affected by the recent earthquake in Mindanao. Kenneth Marcelino and Kenneth Cabungcal decided to sell items from a previous Bench video shoot as part of their campaign to raise funds. The proceeds will be given to Marcelino’s grandmother and relatives in General Santos City whose home was damaged by the quake. Marcelino also shared an emotional appeal online, describing the hardships his family endured, including power outages and significant property damage following the disaster.
