The topic was brought up by Kapamilya broadcast journalist Karen Davila during the latest episode of her vlog. Davila asked Awra about social media users who noticed similarities between her new appearance and that of Kramer following her nose procedure.

“Sinasabi ng ilan ngayon sa social media, kamukha mo na si Kendra Kramer,” said Karen.
“Was that intentional?”

“Hindi po,” Awra replied.

According to Awra, her actual inspiration was Latina model Cindy Kimberly, whose appearance served as the peg she had in mind for her transformation. She also admitted feeling overwhelmed whenever people compared her to Kramer or even Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.

“Kasi ‘yong peg ko po talaga is ‘yong Latina model po, si Cindy Kimberly,” she said.

Awra explained that she sometimes feels shy whenever such comparisons are made because she personally does not see the resemblance as strongly as other people do.

“Pero sobrang na-o-overwhelm po ako tuwing sinasabi nilang kahawig ko si Kendra Kramer o si Catriona [Gray],” she added.

She attributed much of the perceived similarity to their noses, noting that the women being compared to her have similarly pointed noses.

“Medyo naaano nga po ako, ako ‘yong nahihiya for them kasi hindi ko rin makita,” Awra continued.
“Pero siguro po sa ilong po talaga,” she added.
“Kasi mga naka-tip po ‘yong nose nila.”

Despite feeling overwhelmed by the comparisons, Awra said she appreciates the comments and hopes the people she is being compared to would not take them negatively.

“Pero flattered po ako and na-o-overwhelmed,” she said.
“Sana naman po hindi sila ma-offend.”

Beyond the comparisons circulating online, Awra also discussed the process behind her transformation and emphasized that it was not something she decided to do casually.

She revealed that she started her transformation in January. As part of the process, she consulted an endocrinologist to have her testosterone levels assessed and to determine how high the hormone levels she would take should be.

For Awra, taking hormones represented a significant decision rather than a simple way of changing her appearance.

“Big step po talaga siya, e,” she explained.
“Hindi siya ‘yong ‘pag gusto mo lang gumanda or ‘yong gusto mo lang magbago, magho-hormones ka na,” she added.

Her statement highlighted the importance she places on understanding the process before making major changes to her appearance and body.

Awra also expressed gratitude for the guidance and resources available to people from her generation who want to undergo similar transformations.

She described herself as fortunate to belong to a generation where individuals seeking significant changes to their appearance can find professionals who can guide them through the process.

For Awra, her transformation goes beyond the comparisons being made by social media users. While the public may associate her new look with familiar personalities, she made it clear that her inspiration came from somewhere else and that the journey involved careful consideration and professional guidance.
