Mocha Uson has directly addressed the long-standing rumor that she became pregnant by Sen. Robin Padilla, an allegation that has been linked to speculation about her absence from the limelight.

The issue resurfaced during Mocha’s recent interview with GMA News journalist Susan Enriquez, featured in the latest episode of Enriquez’s vlog released on Saturday, September 5. The two discussed Mocha’s present life, including her relationship with her mother, before Enriquez brought up the pregnancy rumor head-on.

“Kaya ka raw nawala, e, nabuntis ka raw ni Robin,” Susan said.

Mocha then explained the background behind the controversy, pointing to an online media outlet and a blind item that had circulated previously.

“Background niyon,” Mocha started.

“isa siyang online media. Blind item. Isang supporter ni ganitong politiko tapos isang controversial na nasa posisyon ngayon, may anak daw.”

According to Mocha, the original blind item did not specifically identify the people involved. She said their names were eventually dragged into the speculation despite there being no direct mention of them in the post.

“Wala namang sinasabi kung sino. Kaya nagulat kami, ba’t nadamay kami?” she added.

The actress and vlogger also revealed that she and Robin have chosen to take the rumor lightly. Rather than allowing the issue to create tension between them, Mocha said they now laugh about the speculation surrounding their names.

Despite treating the matter with humor, however, Mocha admitted that being associated with such a personal controversy can still be embarrassing. She subsequently expressed her apologies to the senator and his wife, Mariel Padilla, for the situation.

“Nakakahiya. Pasintabi po, Sen. Robin. Saka kay Ma’am Mariel Padilla,” Mocha said.

Meanwhile, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) raised concerns over the campaign jingle of Manila councilor candidate Mocha Uson. In a letter dated April 8, Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia called attention to what the poll body described as “sexually suggestive elements” in Uson’s campaign material. Comelec warned that such content could distract from meaningful discussions about policy, governance, and the future of local communities. The concern came after Uson shared a clip of her jingle in a vlog, which included the line, “Cookie ni Mocha, ang sarap sarap.”
