Yeng Constantino addressed whether her husband, Yan Asuncion, felt jealous of Ryan Bang after she reminisced about their past during her 20th anniversary concert.

In an interview with members of the media on the sidelines of the “The Voice Kids” media conference, where Yeng serves as one of the coaches, the singer was asked about her husband’s reaction to her interactions with Ryan during the milestone concert. The said interview was captured in a video posted by PEP.ph.

When asked directly if Yan had gotten jealous of Ryan, Yeng responded with a playful remark before explaining that jealousy is not really part of her husband’s personality.
“Sana nga nagseselos eh,” Yeng quipped. “Hindi eh. Hindi kasi niya personality.”

Her lighthearted response came after her concert moments with Ryan drew attention, particularly as Yeng looked back on their past during her 20th anniversary celebration.
The media then pointed out that the couple must be very secure in their relationship, prompting Yeng to explain why Yan did not take the situation negatively.
“Oo, talagang ano siya, very understanding,” Yeng said.
“Tsaka kilalang-kilala kasi ako ng asawa ko eh. Alam niya 'yung pagkanta ko kay Ryan ay nangungulit lamang ako,” she continued.
Yeng also revealed that Yan was able to empathize with Ryan more than with her, something that she found amusing.
“Uhm, actually, mas nakaka-empathize siya kay Ryan kaysa sa akin. Natatawa na lang talaga ako sa kanya,” she said.
The singer also took the opportunity to reassure fans who had been asking about Yan following the concert. Addressing those who were concerned about her husband, Yeng assured them that he was doing fine.
“'Yung sa mga nag-aalala, mga Yengsters, kamusta si Kuya Yan ninyo? Okay siya,” she said.
Yeng then shared a humorous detail about how Yan spent much of his time during the concert, saying that he actually gained weight because he was frequently in the pantry getting food and coffee.
“Ayun, nag-gain siya ng weight during the concert. Dahil lagi siyang nasa pantry. Kumukuha ng food at saka coffee,” she said.
She ended her message by thanking those who had checked on her husband and expressing her appreciation for their concern.
“He's doing fine. Thank you for checking on him. I appreciate it,” Yeng said.
