Yeng revealed that she and Yan watched the video together. She said she felt bad for Ryan after seeing him become emotional and asked her husband to comfort her.

Yan then reassured her, telling her, “Take it easy, take it easy.”

Yeng explained that Yan has a realistic understanding of her past with Ryan and the fact that they were both young back then.

“So, he's very realistic na bata talaga kami at that time,” Yeng said. Yeng estimated that Ryan was around 18 years old at the time, while she was approximately 21.

Looking back on that period of their lives, Yeng said she appreciates that she and Ryan are now able to recognize the good memories they shared.

“Ang maganda naman doon sa nangyari sa amin, we both see yung magaganda rin, yung memories na pinagdaanan natin,” she said.

Yeng also revealed that she and Ryan were able to communicate through messages after her concert.

“We were able to talk through messages after the concert and even after the days after, we were messaging,” she said.

Their conversations gave Ryan an opportunity to share things that they had not been able to discuss before.

“And he was able to also tell me things na before hindi po namin napag-uusapan. So I'm so grateful for Ryan's vulnerability as well,” Yeng said.

For Yeng, Ryan’s openness allowed them to finally talk about things that had remained unspoken when they were younger.

The singer-songwriter also made it clear that she and Yan continue to support Ryan.

“Kami ng asawa ko talaga, we're rooting for him,” Yeng said.
