ABS-CBN News has already issued a statement regarding the controversial remarks of Jobert Sucaldito against Nadine Lustre.
It was tweeted by Ging Reyes, the head of ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs.
According to the tweet, they are already "investigating reports" regarding Jobert's statements.
They also expressed their take on the mental health issue.
It can be remembered that Nadine called out entertainment writer Ricky Lo because of the article he wrote, where he claimed that the actress and her boyfriend James Reid have broken up.
Jobert defended Ricky and expressed his dislike over Nadine's Instagram post against his fellow showbiz commentator.
However, netizens did not like some of the words he uttered on-air, just like what he commented about Nadine's viral photo where she was at the balcony.
"May mga nakalagay pang caption na parang gustong tumalon. Sana tumalon na lang kung ganoon din lang naman pala," he stated.
His controversial remarks created buzz online especially on Twitter where the hashtag #SuicideIsNotAJokeJobert is currently one of the trending topics.
