In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Bugoy openly shared how married life has been treating him.
“Mas naging open kami sa isa't-isa. Ang sarap lang sa feeling na married ka na,” he expressed.
Furthermore, the former ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ star revealed that their relationship has been more “relaxed” since they tied the knot.
“Kasi sinasabi ng iba, 'pag kinasal ka, parang sakal ka na, 'di ba? Pero hindi eh. Parang mas naging open kami, mas naging close kami, tsaka mas naging relax 'yung relationship.”
The interview took place when the couple attended the Game 5 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals at the Araneta Coliseum on Sunday. As per the actor, he's supporting the Ginebra Gin Kings.

The most touching segment featured Bugoy’s tearful reaction upon seeing EJ walk down the aisle, underscoring the deep bond they share.
Bugoy Cariño, who won the Star Circle Kid Quest talent search on ABS-CBN, was a part of the youth-oriented comedy show "Goin' Bulilit." Later on, he became a member of the all-male group Hashtags on the noontime show "It's Showtime." On the other hand, EJ Laure is one of the most famous volleyball players from the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses.
In a previous report by KAMI, in a recent media conference for the movie "Huling Sayaw," Bugoy openly admitted that he was saddened after losing many projects and opportunities when rumors circulated that he became a father at a young age. On the other hand, Bugoy now believes that perhaps the challenges he faced were a part of God's plan to help him grow and overcome. He has since bounced back from those setbacks.
Earlier, Bugoy Carino courageously admitted that their initial plan with his girlfriend, EJ, was to terminate the pregnancy due to their youth. However, after heartfelt prayers and conversations with his father, Bugoy decided not to push through with it. Now, they are a joyful family with their daughter, Scarlet.
