Vice Ganda and the rest of ‘It’s Showtime’ will be transferring from TV5 to GMA’s GTV starting July 1, which means the ABS-CBN show and TAPE Inc.’s ’Eat Bulaga’ will both be airing under the Kapuso brand.
In a report by the Kapuso Showbiz News on GMA’s 24 Oras, ’Eat Bulaga’ host Paolo Contis reacted to this huge news.

According to Paolo, since ‘It’s Showtime’ and ‘Eat Bulaga’ are now under one roof with the same time slot, it will be a healthy competition between the two noontime programs.
Paolo is also excited that this healthy competition will open a lot of opportunities for celebrities to appear on both shows.

“This is a very big collaboration [ng Kapuso at ABS-CBN] kasi noontime show na 'to. It opens up a lot of opportunities for other actors para makapag-guest doon [sa It's Showtime] at the same time para makapag guest dito [sa Eat Bulaga]," he added.
"It will be a very healthy competition because your basically under one roof," Paolo said.
Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. He and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 19, 2021.
