“Araw araw kitang iniisip, Mi. Isang buwan na ang nakalipas,” Ramirez wrote.

Although the passage of time has brought her to the one-month mark since her mother’s death, Ramirez said she has not stopped longing for her presence. Instead, she looks forward to sleeping because dreams have given her opportunities to see Chit again.

“Sobrang saya ko na palagi mo akong dinadalaw sa panaginip ko. Looking forward ako lagi matulog kasi baka andun ka,” she said.

Ramirez described her mother as appearing happy whenever she encounters her in those dreams.

“Laging nakangiti. Laging masaya,” the actress added.

For someone mourning the loss of a parent, such dreams can become deeply meaningful, and Ramirez’s words showed how much she treasures those moments. Even though they occur while she is asleep, seeing her mother again provides a temporary sense of closeness that she clearly holds onto.

At the same time, Ramirez acknowledged that the grieving process has remained extremely painful.

“Hindi gumagaan yung mga luha. Habang tumatagal lalong bumibigat,” she wrote.

Rather than describing grief as something that has become easier after a month, the actress said her sadness seems to have grown heavier. She compared the experience to an illness that has no cure and a problem for which there appears to be no answer.

“Parang sakit na walang gamot. Parang problema na walang solusyon,” Ramirez said.

Her words conveyed the difficulty of adjusting to a reality in which the person she had known as her mother is no longer physically present. The message was not an attempt to offer a simple resolution to grief, but instead a candid expression of how painful the loss continues to feel.

Ramirez also spoke on behalf of the family, saying they miss Chit tremendously.

“We miss you so much, Mi,” she wrote.

Despite the sadness, the actress said she believes her mother continues to watch over and support them.

“Alam ko nakabantay at nakaalalay ka sa amin. Nararamdaman ko mi. Andyan ka,” Ramirez said.

That belief appears to give her some comfort as she and her loved ones navigate their lives without Chit. Her message suggests that while her mother is no longer physically with the family, Ramirez continues to feel her presence and guidance.

She ended the letter with an expression of profound love and a simple request: that her mother keep returning to her dreams.

“Mahal na mahal kita. Balik balik ka lang sa panaginip ko ha. Kahit araw araw pa,” she wrote.

The message comes after Ramirez previously shared her grief over her mother’s death and the difficulty of moving forward without her. Her latest letter shows that the mourning process remains very personal and ongoing as the family reaches the first month since Chit’s passing.

As she continues to mourn, the actress appears to be holding onto those moments while keeping Chit’s memory close to her heart.

Concepcion “Chit” Dodd, Ramirez’s mother, died on the evening of Monday, August 17, 2026. Following her death, regional officials, supporters, and others who knew of her work continued expressing their condolences to the family as Ramirez and her loved ones mourned her passing.
