The Philippines is one of the countries with the most beautiful women in the world. This stark reality becomes more apparent with Filipino celebrities stealing not only local stardom but also international spotlight. Nevertheless, only a few charmed the hearts of the masses.
Minneapolis-based media company Gazette Review listed the top 10 most beautiful women in the Philippines. Here they are.
1. MARIAN RIVERA
The Spanish-Filipino actress rose to fame when she took the lead role in the Philippine adaptation of Mexican telenovela Marimar in TV network GMA 7.
After winning as FHM Woman for three times, the Kapuso Primetime Queen was recognized as FHM Philippines first Hall of Famer.
2. ANNE CURTIS
Anne Ojales Curtis-Smith was born to an Australian father and a Filipina mother. She was discovered in 1997 after joining a beauty pageant. Her major appearance debuted in 2005 where she played the main character in ABS-CBN’s Kampanerang Kuba.

3. ANGEL LOCSIN
She started to act on TV in 2002 in the teen drama series Click . Angel Locsin became one of the lead stars in the fantasy-themed show Mulawin in 2004. The actress who was discovered by a talent scout in a shopping mall has named FHM Philippines Best Woman in 2005 and 2010.
4. COLEEN GARCIA
Danielle Claudine Ortega Garcia first appeared on TV commercials in 1994. The former It’s Showtime host performed a major role in the musical anthology Good Vibes in 2011.
5. MAJA SALVADOR
Aside from acting, Maja Salvador is also known for her talent in dancing which give her the title “Dance Princess”. She starred in the supernatural series Spirits in 2004 and played a major role. Since then, she began appearing in films and TV shows.
6. KATHRYN BERNARDO
Renowned as the Philippines Teen Queen, Kathryn Bernardo started showbiz as young as seven years old. The 20-year-old actress played the role of Mara, the main protagonist, in the soap opera Mara Clara in 2011.
7. CRISTINE REYES
Christine Reyes became well-known after joining the first season GMA Network’s reality talent show StarStruck in 2003. She appeared in Darna and Eva Fonda as the antagonist character. Reyes ranked first in FHM Philippines Best Woman in 2009.
8. LIZA SOBERANO
Hope Elizabeth Soberano started modelling in the Philippines in 2010.
The Filipino-American actress had her first major appearance in the fantasy-themed show Wansapanataym in 2011.
9. KIM CHIU
The chinita actress earned recognition when she won the first season of ABS-CBN’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition.
She started acting on films in 2006 with First Day High as her first comedy movie.
10. KC CONCEPCION
Maria Kristina Cassandra Concepcion got her looks from her celebrity parents Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion. For six years, the singer-actress hosted the long-time running musical and variety show ASAP of the Kapamilya Network.
