Sparkle hunk and Sparkada member Jeff Moses opened up about the unfair judgments he experienced whenever people saw him spending time with his uncle, who is openly gay.

Moses shared the experience during an episode of TRGGRD!, where he recalled how strangers would make inappropriate assumptions about their relationship simply because his uncle is part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The actor explained that during his high school years, he would often ride with his uncle, who worked as a teacher. Their noticeable age difference and different surnames, however, meant that people who saw them together did not always realize they were relatives.
He also remembered that his uncle owned a large pink motorcycle, which made their appearances together even more noticeable.

Moses recalled the hurtful assumptions people would make about him.
He said some people would even connect his appearance to his uncle in a derogatory manner.
“Parang sinasabi nila, 'Oh! Kaya pala pogi kasi namamakla.”
For Moses, such experiences were especially frustrating because he grew up in an environment where LGBTQIA+ individuals were already a normal and accepted part of his life.
Bakla niya siguro yan kasi kasama niya.'”
He added that even ordinary activities, such as shopping with LGBTQIA+ friends or relatives, could invite unwanted comments from other people.
The discussion also touched on another issue faced by some actors in the entertainment industry: indecent proposals.
Moses noted that people can sometimes have misconceptions about actors and the kinds of offers they receive because of their profession.
Moses is set to appear in the theater production Bongga Ka, 'Day! The Annie Batungbakal Musical, which is scheduled to be staged this September.
