The actress and fashion personality discussed the topic during her appearance on Your Honor, hosted by Chariz Solomon and Buboy Villar. One of the subjects brought up during the session was “flex culture,” which led Heart to share her personal perspective on how some personalities present themselves online and in real life.
During the discussion, Heart admitted that she finds excessive arrogance among certain influencers off-putting.
“Hindi ko ma-take kasi 'yung ibang influencers kung umasta... (ang) yabang mo sis! Ang yabang mo! I hate that!”

Heart clarified that she also acknowledges her own confidence and does not consider herself opposed to people taking pride in their accomplishments.
“Ako mayabang ako, niyayabang ko 'yung kailangan ko iyabang kasi trabaho ko 'yun. Pero, kung ano ang binili ko, hindi ko 'yun i-a-unbox. Kasi for me, okay, iba-iba tayo ng trip. I respect that.”
For Heart, the issue is not necessarily about showing success or possessions but about how a person behaves toward others.
“I'm fine with that. Ang point ko lang is magkakaalaman kayo in person, kasi ang taas ah! Grabe ang taas,” saad ng The People Have Spoken host.
She also made it clear that she has little patience for people who act as though they are entitled to special treatment.
“I don't like entitled people, I don't like that. Turn off ako, and if you want to name names or if you want to say things about me, I'll never say it like this, because I wasn't brought up that way. But, hanapan mo ako ng dumi, ilagay kita sa microscope, mas madaming mahahanap sa 'yo na bacteria. 'Yung flesh-eating bacteria.”
Heart’s remarks quickly caught the attention of viewers who watched her guesting. Several netizens agreed with her sentiments, with one commenter describing the actress as someone whose kindness feels genuine and saying that she treats people like family.
Another viewer simply reacted with laughter and affection, writing, “Hahah love that, always palaban.”
Her comments have since sparked further discussion among viewers about confidence, success and the difference between celebrating achievements and becoming entitled.
