The Global Fashion Icon shared the reminder during the latest episode of “Your Honor,” where she discussed how people can easily form impressions based on what they see on social media. According to Heart, viewers should not immediately assume that someone is genuine simply because that person appears pleasant or popular online.
She stressed that some personalities may project an image that is very different from how they behave away from the public eye.
Heart said that people should be particularly cautious when someone appears almost too perfect.

“You really have to decipher who you look up to on social media. And if it's too good to be true, most of the time it's not true.”
She also pointed out that individuals who constantly appear eager to connect with everyone may not necessarily treat people kindly in private.
“Um, and usually kung sino pa yung kala niyong kung sino yung madadak na parang trying to be one with people. Yun yung actually iyung totoong bully because they're not that in person,” she said.
Beyond social media personalities and public perception, Heart also emphasized the importance of remaining grounded despite achieving success.
For her, accomplishments should never become a reason for someone to distance themselves from their beginnings or develop a sense of superiority over others.
“No matter how successful you are, ayan nasa lesson na tayo. Matuto kang lumingon kung saan ka nanggaling,” she said.
“Maging humble ka. Ipako mo yung dalawa mong paa sa lapag.”
Heart further addressed people who are currently enjoying attention and popularity online, reminding them not to allow sudden fame to change the way they treat others.
