Atasha Muhlach’s co-stars in the upcoming musical “Bongga Ka, ’Day!: The Annie Batungbakal Musical” shared their positive impressions of the young actress, describing her as charming, energetic, and easy to work with, according to a report by The Philippine Star.

Atasha will take on the role of Annie in the musical, with Sam Concepcion, Jeff Moses, and Anthony Rosaldo serving as her alternating leading men. The three actors will portray Romer Pasion, the worldly flight attendant and heir to the House of Pasion.
Sam shared that he and Atasha quickly established a good working relationship as they began preparations for the production. During a press conference at the Grand Bar and Lounge, Newport World Resorts, he told The STAR that their connection developed naturally from the start.
“It’s been great. We’re still in the early parts of the production, but immediately, I think, we also just clicked,” Sam said.

He praised Atasha’s personality, saying that her charm and character are qualities that make her a fitting partner for a musical performance.
“Atasha is super charming. She’s someone that people would immediately love, I think, on stage because of her personality, attitude and character. That’s something that you want in a singing partner… Someone who’s endearing.”
Sam also recalled his first meeting with Atasha and described her as someone who was welcoming and genuine.
“She’s very charming and warm,” Sam added.
Jeff, meanwhile, said he immediately noticed a familiar feeling when he first met Atasha during the auditions. He related her personality to that of her twin brother Andres Muhlach, whom he previously worked with in “Bagets: The Musical.”
“I’m happy because you know that familiar feeling. Kasi parang hindi siya naiba sa akin because ramdam ko yung, ‘Si Andres to ah.’ Pero ibang katawan. I’m happy because like when we first met during the auditions, we greeted each other, ‘I’m happy to work with you,’ ganyan. ‘Sana matagal pa tayong magka-work.’”

Jeff said their friendship immediately grew after their first meeting and expressed excitement about working with Atasha during rehearsals. He also highlighted her dedication to the project.
“As mentioned earlier, our friendship really clicked and I’m excited to start rehearsals and for you guys to watch the show,” Jeff said.
Anthony also shared his admiration for Atasha’s personality, describing her as someone full of energy and positivity. He called her a “ball of energy” and “such a character,” while also noting her lively, playful, and kind nature.
“I have a lot of words, but more than that, she’s very humble, even though that was only our first meeting. She’s kind, humble and down-to-earth. So alam ko na marami kaming magandang pagsasamahan. I’m excited to work with her.”
John “Sweet” Lapus, who plays Tarurit, the larger-than-life proprietor of Coco Banana and alternates the role with Dindo Divinagracia, also praised Atasha after seeing her audition and rehearsal performances.
“Magaling siya so far. I was really surprised, nakita ko na nu’ng audition, magaling siyang sumayaw. Nagulat ako dun sa singing, so kahapon dun sa rehearsal namin, ‘Wow!’ So sabi ko nga kung si Andres, na-prove at ginulat ang mga tao sa ‘Bagets,’ Atasha will do the same thing for ‘Bongga Ka, ’Day!’… She has magic, may glow.”

Atasha Muhlach is the daughter of veteran Filipino actor Aga Muhlach, who rose to fame after starring in the 1986 hit film “Bagets.” Aga later became known for lead roles in successful films such as “Sana Maulit Muli,” “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal,” and “Miracle in Cell No. 7.” He is married to former beauty queen Charlene Gonzalez, whom he wed on May 28, 2001. The couple has twin children, Andres and Atasha.
