According to ABS-CBN News’ report, Kathryn opened up about the milestone during an interview with reporters at the unveiling of her wax figure. The actress shared that the news took some time to fully sink in, recalling how her mother was the first person who informed her about the opportunity and sent her the initial presentation about the project.

Kathryn revealed that the announcement left her surprised at first, especially because she had personal memories connected to Madame Tussauds. She shared that she used to visit the attraction in Los Angeles with her father, which made the opportunity even more meaningful when she learned she would eventually become part of it.

“It was a message from my mom. She sent like a deck. I used to go to Madam Tussauds. My Papa and I used to go in Madame Tussauds in LA. So, when I found out about the deck, I was like, ‘Why me?’. Hindi pa 'yun nag-sink in. The team were discussing na ano 'yung magiging look, ano 'yung gusto nating hair and makeup until we did the measurement na.”

The actress explained that the reality of having her own wax figure only became clear during the preparation process, particularly when the team started discussing the details of her appearance and completed her measurements. “Doon lang siya nag-sink na I’m really part of it. It's a full circle moment and until today I can’t believe it. I'm just so happy that I got to share it with my family.”

The actress shared that the measurements were done in August 2025 and admitted that she almost forgot the launch was approaching because of her busy schedule.

“We waited for like a year since we did the measurements. It was August 2025. I was so busy the past months and actually nakalimutan ko na ilau-launch na.”

Kathryn also shared her excitement after meeting her wax figure for the first time, calling it an unforgettable experience. She praised the people behind Madame Tussauds for their dedication and effort in creating the figure.

“I got to meet my twin and, oh my gosh, they are amazing — the team behind Madame Tussauds.”
