According to the beauty queen, she respected the decision because she was initially informed that there would be no farewell walk for any of the queens.

"I respected the decision of the organization because it was communicated as to me as well na walang magaganap na farewell walk for all queens," she said.

Later on, Joy learned that the other queens were eventually given a farewell walk after they requested it from Miss Philippines Earth owner Lorraine Schuck. She admitted that she felt saddened because the final walk is an important milestone for every titleholder.

"Of course, I was saddened at first kasi parang lahat naman ho ng beauty queen 'yun ang nilo-look forward. This is like the mark of the end of my responsibilities, my commitment, and also my legacy," she shared.

Boy Abunda also asked Joy about a social media post that mentioned action is taken when a contract is breached. When asked if it referred to her, the beauty queen said she could not answer because nothing had been explained to her.

"Did you breach your contract?"
"I don't know, because it wasn't communicated to me," Joy replied.

She also revealed that after informing the organization that she had already booked her trip, she told them she remained willing to fulfill her responsibilities if needed. She said she did not receive a direct reply, although a manager later thanked her for her reign and contributions after the coronation.

Throughout the interview, Joy refrained from making accusations and emphasized that she was not in a position to assume the organization's reasons. She maintained that until now, no one has personally explained why she was no longer allowed to take part in the final walk.
