Veteran singer and actress Vina Morales reflected on the defining moments of her more than 40-year career in the entertainment industry during her guest appearance on All-Out Sundays, where she opened up about the milestones that continue to hold a special place in her heart.

Speaking with host Julie Anne San Jose, Vina was asked to identify the achievement in her singing career that she treasures the most. Rather than choosing one of her many successful projects, she pointed to the moment that started everything for her.
"Ang favorite milestone ko siguro is when I was discovered, when I was nine years old. I competed for the 6th Cebu Pop Music Festival. Kasi doon po nag-start po lahat ng aking career. So, that was 1986. So, sabi ko, from then on, doon talaga nag-umpisa lahat."
The veteran performer explained that joining the prestigious competition became the turning point of her career, eventually opening countless opportunities in different fields of entertainment.

She shared that after being discovered, she was able to build a career that extended far beyond singing.
"I did a lot of movies, albums, concerts abroad. And then I did theater for a while. So, 'yung mga opportunities na ganoon, talagang naibigay sa akin. Kaya I'm very grateful for all the people na naging parte ng buhay ko sa showbiz."
Apart from her accomplishments in music and film, Vina also highlighted one achievement that brought her to one of the world's most recognized theater stages.
"Actually, ang dami talagang milestones. Sa theater naman, I did Broadway, sa New York. That's one of the milestones na hindi ko rin makakalimutan."
She also recalled the honor of representing the Philippines in an international singing competition, describing it as another unforgettable chapter in her career.
"And, another one is when I competed for our country, 'yung [Ikon Asean] kasi siyempre iba pa rin 'yung nagdadala ka ng karangalan sa ating bansa."
While her career has been filled with remarkable accomplishments both locally and internationally, Vina emphasized that her greatest appreciation remains with the people who stood by her throughout her journey.
