Bianca Manalo addressed the attention surrounding her viral message for Senate President Win Gatchalian and clarified the current status of their relationship.

During an interview shared by News5 and reported by journalist Von Belinario, the former beauty queen said she and Gatchalian remain close friends despite no longer being together.
"Because magkaibigan talaga kaming dalawa. We're very good friends," Bianca said when asked about the public reaction to her message for the senator.
The actress went on to explain that they still communicate regularly because of their three dogs, which they both continue to care for.

"We have custody with our three dogs," she shared. "Three dogs namin, para naming mga anak."
According to Bianca, she still contacts the Senate President whenever one of the dogs needs attention or gets sick. She even referred to him as the dogs' "daddy."
Because of this arrangement, the celebrity said their friendship has remained intact over the years.
Aside from clarifying her relationship with Gatchalian, Bianca was also asked about supporters promoting a possible tandem between the Senate President and Sen. Risa Hontiveros, known online as #WinRi.
Rather than dismissing the idea, the former beauty queen openly expressed her support.
"Why not?" Bianca said.
She explained that her support comes from her belief in the work both public officials have done, particularly on issues that she believes benefit the country.
"Kung ikauunlad ng ating bansa, yung ginagawa nilang dalawa, which is yun naman talaga," she said.
The actress also mentioned their previous efforts against Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators or POGOs and said she fully supports both leaders.
"Full support ako sa kanilang dalawa. So why not?" she added.
Bianca further emphasized that Gatchalian continues to have her support and admiration.
"Up to now, Senator S.P. Sherwin has my full support and I will forever be proud of him," she said.
