Veteran actress and comedienne Ai-Ai Delas Alas proved that age is just a number when it comes to extreme physical fitness. On her Instagram account, she shared her pure surprise and happiness after discovering the official results of her recent HYROX fitness race.

As seen in her Instagram, which has since gone viral, Ai-Ai posted a screenshot of the official leaderboards displaying her legal name, Martina Eileen delas Alas, alongside her teammate Winnie Joy de Guzman.
"Today, I realized that out of 20,000 HYROX athletes, my partner and I ranked #501 overall—and in our age group (55–59), we finished 4th!" Ai-Ai proudly announced.
The impressive finish did not come easy for the pair. Ai-Ai opened up about the grueling physical toll the competition took on their bodies, making the moment they crossed the finish line feel like a true miracle.

"Looking back, I can only say: God is so good. My partner was battling severe cramps, and I was struggling with plantar pain to the point that I could barely run. But somehow, by God's strength and grace, we kept going and crossed that finish line together," she recalled.
For the famous star, finishing the tough race was a testament to keeping one's faith even when it's hard.
"What seemed impossible became possible. Thank You, Lord, for carrying us when our bodies wanted to give up. Your strength became our strength. All glory to God," she added.
Ai-Ai confessed that she had no idea their official placement was that high until she checked the records later on. The sudden realization brought her to tears.
"(Ngayon ko lang nalaman may ganito pala, naluha ako talaga, iba talaga si Lord, ang power ng prayers) congratulations pala satin partner, akalain mo naluha ko and na-surprised," Ai-Ai wrote.
Ai-Ai delas Alas is an actress, comedian, singer, and television personality dubbed the "Queen of Comedy." She became especially known for her iconic role as Ina Montecillo in the film Ang Tanging Ina, which became one of the most iconic comedy franchises in the Philippines. On television, Ai-Ai also showcased her talent as both a host and an actress. She gained recognition in drama series such as Raising Mamay and in blockbuster films like Volta, Ang Cute Ng Ina Mo, and Pasukob. In her personal life, she married Gerald Sibayan in 2017. However, in November 2024, the “Queen of Comedy” confirmed their separation.
