In an emotional Instagram story, Ashley shared a picture holding up a glass of coffee in front of her mom, who was resting in a hospital bed. She then looked back on the quiet afternoons they used to share together.
"I miss our coffee dates, Ma. I miss making coffee for you in the afternoon (dahil di naman tayo morning person) and making sure it's sweet, just the way you like it ☕," Ashley wrote.
The loss has left a huge void in Ashley's life, especially the everyday conversations and the cheerful atmosphere her mother always brought into the room.
