During the session titled “In Aid of Unfriending: FO Dahil sa Politika?”, Evans explained how political beliefs can affect relationships. She shared that she is fortunate to be surrounded by people who share similar principles, making it easier for her to maintain genuine friendships.

“Parang wala naman nag-offer sa akin na mang-troll. But with friendship over, I'm just so lucky na I don't think kasi na magiging friend ko talaga siya, close friend kung magkaiba kami principle in politics,” she said.

Evans also revealed that she once encountered someone who encouraged her to support a politician she did not believe in, allegedly linking it to financial gain. She recalled the mindset being presented to them in a way that normalized monetary incentives in showbiz involvement in politics.

“Yan 'yung reason niya. Parang ang reason niya is like sumampa tayo because it pays money and we are showbiz people. Parang, that's what we do, we entertain,” she said.

However, she and others pushed back against this idea.

“Tapos kami, pinaintindi rin namin sa kanya na parang kasi kami before na 'pag nawala kasi 'yung integrity mo as a person. Ano pa ang matitira talaga sa 'yo?” she added.

She also reflected on the dangers of prioritizing money over principle, noting how it could lead to supporting unqualified leaders.

“Walang-wala na ba tayong ibang paraan para kumita... Pero kaya mo ba 'yun na someone might win who's not really deserving, walang paki sa bansa?” she warned.

Evans closed her thoughts by stressing dignity in livelihood, saying:

“Dapat it's more than yourself... kapag wala na ako sa showbiz, puwede pa rin naman ako mag-call center... Parang laging may marangal na trabaho kang puwedeng kunin na nasayo pa rin ang integrity and dignity mo bilang tao.”
