During the press conference for the upcoming event, Angeli became emotional as she responded to questions regarding the issues she faced while she was away from the spotlight. She admitted that the experience changed her perspective in life and in the entertainment industry.

“In my understanding, how can I say this properly na I became more emphathetic person? Kapag pinasok mo ang industriya, talagang merong positive, negative, different kinds of comments."

“But that doesn’t prove kasi your character won’t be tamed if you’re really not like that. I think time will tell,” she said.

She further explained that she no longer gives importance to negative talks about her, saying her focus has shifted toward self-improvement and career growth.

“Parang in my mind, sabihan mo ang pinakamayaman na tao, na mahirap siya, pagtatawanan ka lang,” Angeli added.

The actress also stressed that responding to controversies only fuels more attention, which is why she has chosen to remain silent and continue working on herself instead.

“I do think…should I prove (na mali sila)…is it appropriate? All I did was work from the start, focus on myself, growth, morals. If I share my thoughts, if I share my side, mas madami lalabas na crititcs ng tao. Patuloy lang lalaki. But I know myself,” she explained.
