Michelle Dee has shifted her attention to her work and ongoing projects months after the controversy that linked her, Rhian Ramos, and Samantha Panlilio.

Speaking during the June 16 episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the beauty queen and Kapuso personality shared that their friendship remained intact despite the public issue they faced earlier this year.
“We're still very, very close and we'd like to keep it that way,” Michelle said.
The controversy surfaced in January and, according to Michelle, she has since moved forward and chosen to focus on her career.

However, she admitted that being thrust into the center of public scrutiny was not easy.
“You know, nobody wants to be put in that spot, to be under national spotlight, scrutiny, accusations, especially without fact-checking,” she said.
Michelle added that she considers herself fortunate that many people today are becoming more discerning and are capable of examining information before immediately passing judgment. According to her, more individuals now take the time to connect the dots and verify details before believing circulating claims.
“We've always said this; the truth will always come out. And it has been coming out sa general opinion naman talaga,” she said.
Although she believes the truth eventually surfaces, Michelle emphasized that fake news remains a serious concern.
“I think people should stay accountable,” she stated.
The actress and beauty queen also pointed out that having a source does not automatically guarantee the truthfulness of information.
“Hindi naman porke't may source ka, it means na totoo. And a lot of people are victims to that. I just hope that the truth comes out in that regard, and I definitely don't agree na dapat binibigyan pa ng panahon ang mga nagfe-fake news,” she said.
Michelle, Rhian Ramos, and Samantha Panlilio became involved in controversy after a driver and personal assistant of the actress, identified only as alias Totoy, accused them of physical assault and illegal detention.
In his account before the National Bureau of Investigation in Pasay City, alias Totoy claimed that Rhian and Michelle allegedly forced him into a condominium unit and pressured him to confess to taking an angpao from the residence. According to him, the envelope supposedly contained sensitive photographs.
Despite the controversy and the allegations that circulated, Michelle maintained that truth and accountability remain important, while she continues to prioritize her career and personal growth.
