Toni Gonzaga, a Filipina actress-host, delighted netizens as she penned a wonderful birthday message for her good friend, Mariel Padilla.

On Saturday, August 10, Toni took to Instagram to upload a throwback picture she had with Mariel before writing a sweet, lengthy message for her.

According to Toni, they were both 19 years old when they first met, before fondly recalling their time together during their 'PBB' days in ABS-CBN.

"Happiest birthday Ma! We were 19 years old nung una tayo nag meet, then we flew to Canada, we did PBB, you gave me the book “He’s Just Not That Into You” in our brokenhearted era, then nagka-falling out and reconciled, getting married, getting pregnant at the same time, having kids, our kids being schoolmates," Toni said.

In her post, Toni said she can "go on and on" about what their friendship went through and how grateful she is to have a friend like Mariel in her life.

"I can go on and on about what our friendship went through. I’m grateful for everything… I’m grateful I have a friend like you in this life. Happiest birthday to the woman who lights up every room she walks into. I just know this will be your best year! You deserve all the happiness in the world… Love you @marieltpadilla," she wrote.

Toni Gonzaga is a famous actress, television host, and YouTube star in the Philippines. She married director Paul Soriano on June 12, 2015, in Taytay, Rizal. On September 30, 2016, Toni gave birth to their first child, Severiano Elliott or Seve. Toni is also the sister of famous YouTuber Alex Gonzaga.
