Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma' Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She is also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery," and "Santa Juana."

In a previous report by KAMI, MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News shared a video captured during the wake of Jaclyn Jose's wake. According to his post, the 'FPJ's Batang Quiapo' cast recently visited the wake to pay tribute to the late actress. Some of the ABS-CBN executives, such as Cory Vidanes, were also spotted consoling Jaclyn's daughter, Andi Eigenmann, and her daughter, Ellie. Coco Martin, Christopher de Leon, Vandolph, Cherry Pie Picache, Direk Malu Sevilla, Julio Diaz, and John Estrada were also present with them.
