Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, also known by her stage name Jaclyn Jose, was a Filipino cinema and TV actress who had earned international critical acclaim. Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma'Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She was also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery", and "Santa Juana". Jaclyn was the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.

In a previous report by KAMI, Jaclyn Jose was once again honored by the Cannes Film Festival organization through a heartwarming post on their official social media account. In their post, which was written in French, the prestigious award-giving body said they remembered the face of Jaclyn as one beaming with emotion when she received her award in 2016. The organization also said Jaclyn embodies a woman of “grace and humanity." It can be recalled that the late actress won the Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Award in 2016 for her performance in Ma’ Rosa, the only Filipino to have won such an award so far.
