Her father has reportedly worked as a construction worker for almost 30 years. Throughout his career, he spent much of his time building homes for other families.
This time, however, the property he was working on had a special meaning. Unknown to him, the house would eventually become his family’s own home.
The touching story was featured by GMA News Feed after the family’s video gained attention on social media.

According to the caption of the original TikTok post, the construction worker had no idea about the real owner of the house.
“Yung bahay na pinapagawa sa kanya, hindi niya alam bahay niya,” the uploader wrote.
His children carefully kept the plan a secret while the house was being completed. Based on the video, the family managed to hide the surprise for around two to three months.
They reportedly told their parents that they would only be going on a staycation. This helped prevent the couple from learning about the surprise before the planned reveal.
The family prepared the special moment on August 11, which the uploader identified as her mother’s birthday. Their loved ones gathered as they finally revealed the truth behind the property.
The construction worker appeared emotional when he learned that the house he had worked on was actually meant for him and his family.
The moment became even more meaningful because of his long experience in the construction industry.
“As 30 years na construction worker, bahay ng iba yung lagi niyang ginagawa. This time, bahay niya na,” the family wrote in the post.
