After sharing the realization, Alden could no longer hold back his tears. He reached out to Vice before the two stood and shared a comforting hug.

The interview was reportedly paused as the actor continued crying. Vice later revealed that the emotional moment lasted much longer than what viewers initially saw.

Although the host was hesitant to proceed, Alden still wanted to finish the conversation. He later said that he was surprised by how the interview unfolded and by the realizations it brought him.

The star also shared that he had reached a stage in his life where pleasing everyone was no longer his priority. He said he wanted to use the things he loved doing to become a blessing to other people.
