The actor opened up to Vice Ganda about a realization he had after years of looking for love from another person.
“For the longest time na naghahanap ako ng pagmamahal from another person. Na-realize ko, pagmamahal pala sa sarili 'yung kulang,” Alden said before breaking down in tears.
Vice later looked back on the emotional moment in a series of posts on X, formerly Twitter.

“Yakap Alden!” the host wrote, sending support to the actor after the episode aired.
In another post, Vice revealed that Alden’s emotional breakdown lasted for several minutes and even made her consider stopping the interview.
“That breakdown took almost 10 minutes. And it felt like I didn't want to continue the interview because I felt so sorry for him. His crying was intense,” she shared.
Still, Alden decided that he wanted to continue their conversation.
Vice praised him for choosing to push through despite the emotions he was carrying at the time.
“But he insisted on still continue. Haaaayyy!!! love you Alden!” she added.
Alden later responded to the message with a short but sweet reply: “Love you Vice.”
Their exchange came after both stars had already spoken about how the GGV taping helped them form a more personal connection.
Their conversation showed a different side of Alden as he spoke openly about love, heartbreak, and what he had learned about himself.

The MTRCB instructed the respondents to submit a Joint Position Paper and Joint Undertaking to reinforce compliance with broadcast standards. The board also ordered the networks involved to appoint an On-Air Compliance Officer to help prevent possible violations during live broadcasts.
