The Asia’s Multimedia Star was the first guest of Vice Ganda on the show’s return, where they exchanged jokes and took part in several segments. Among them was “Deep Truth,” a portion that challenged Alden to reveal something surprising while Vice and the Geng Gang tried to determine whether his answer was genuine or merely a joke.
One of the statements they had to assess involved Alden allegedly punching someone after being called “bading.”
Vice immediately asked where the supposed incident happened, prompting Alden to answer, “Sa Laguna.”

The Geng Gang then weighed whether Alden’s revelation was true. Divine Tetay and Vice even gave playful guesses, including “Verna Joy Periwinkle,” before Vice ultimately decided that the statement was “charot.”
Alden confirmed that it was indeed only a joke. He clarified that he had never punched anyone simply because they called him “bading.”
The conversation, however, became more serious when Vice asked Alden about his reaction to the repeated remarks he has received throughout the years.
“Lagi kang nasasabihan ng ganyan. Lagi kang tinatanong ng ganyan. Minsan ba gusto mo na ring manapak?” Vice asked.
Alden said he does not resort to violence but admitted that the comments can still affect him.
“Hindi naman,” Alden said.
“Napipikon, na-o-offend. Kasi hindi na siya natapos, e. Until such time na nag-showbiz ako.”
He also discussed what he believes contributes to the persistent questions about his sexuality, particularly the expectations surrounding male celebrities and their relationships.
“Kasi nga, ang qualification sa industriya natin, for some reason, kailangan may jowa ka para lalaki ka,” he said.
Alden has previously addressed the same issue. During his January 2024 appearance on “Toni Talks,” he expressed his frustration over the repeated gender-related speculation surrounding him.
“Tingin n’yo ganoon? Fine. Tingin n’yo bading? Fine. Ang iniisip ko nga minsan ‘pag may mga rumors, wala na bang iba?” he said.
His latest remarks once again highlighted how long-running public speculation can affect even celebrities who have repeatedly chosen to address the issue with humor and composure.
