According to a report by ABS-CBN, the comedian and host talked about the upcoming changes to the show during the Preview Ball held on September 10 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport World Resorts in Pasay City.
For Vice, one of the most exciting aspects of the show's return is the opportunity to welcome personalities from both major television networks.
“It’s extra exciting because I will be interviewing Kapuso stars eventually kasi 10 years ako nag-I nung nakaraan pero konti lang yung Kapuso stars na in-interview ko. Ngayon magkasama na, Kapuso and Kapamilya. Mas malaki na yung pool of guests na meron ako,” he shared.

Alden Richards is set to appear as the pilot episode guest, and Vice spoke warmly about their conversation after Alden described their interview as the best one of his career.
Vice also revealed that she already has several personalities in mind whom she hopes to welcome to the revived program, including Marian Rivera.
During her red carpet appearance at the Preview Ball, Vice also explained how her interview with Alden came together.
According to Vice, the Kapuso actor personally reached out after apparently seeing promotional material for the show's comeback.
Wala, walang (awkwardness). Mabait kasi siyang tao eh,” she explained.
While the interview was generally enjoyable for both of them, there was a point when the taping had to be paused for about half an hour.
Alden had previously talked about the unexpected break, and Vice later explained that the interruption happened after the actor became overwhelmed by a particularly personal question.
“Kinuwento niya? Yeah. The interview was so fun tapos he was so open. Parang na-enjoy niya masyado. May part dun na he found the question too personal at nag-pour siya ng so much emotions,” she recalled.
Aside from discussing the return of “Gandang Gabi Vice,” Vice also drew attention at the Preview Ball with her outfit created by designer Anthony Ramirez.
The event followed a deconstructed creative theme, and Vice said her look was intentionally chosen to carry a political undertone.
“The material is cow leather and faux crocodile leather. When you talk about crocodiles these days, what do you think about? So my outfit is kind of political. I’m always happy that Preview has considered me like their family. Parang taon taon nag-pri-Preview ako. Every year, invited ako sa mga ganap nila. But I was able to establish a very good relationship with Preview and that’s what I am most happy about,” she said.
Meanwhile, Vice is also preparing for the Metro Manila Film Festival, where she stars alongside veteran comedian Vic Sotto in “The Greatest Showdown.”
The project marks their first time working together on the big screen, an opportunity Vice said she appreciates.
“iWala naman akong iniisip na anything scary about him.
With the return of “Gandang Gabi Vice” and her upcoming MMFF film, Vice remains busy with projects that bring her together with stars from different networks and generations.
