Alden Richards opened up about becoming closer to Vice Ganda after taping the pilot episode of the new season of “Gandang Gabi Vice.”

The Kapuso actor is set to become the first guest of the comedy talk show's new season. Before the episode airs, both stars shared how their first extended conversation helped them know each other better.
According to a report by GMA Entertainment, Alden said viewers can expect to see a side of him that is more relaxed and a little “naughty.” However, he also hinted that some parts of the conversation became more serious and personal.
“I think the serious parts are the ones that they should watch out for kasi something personal,” he said.

The actor admitted that he had been looking forward to having a longer conversation with Vice. He also shared that his view of their relationship changed after the taping.
“Senior ko si Vice, and then paying my respects to her. Right after this episode, nagbago na because of how she made me feel and maybe how I made her feel,” Alden said.
Vice, meanwhile, was also happy to finally spend more time talking with the Kapuso star. The comedian previously admitted being starstruck by Alden during an encounter in 2017.
Years later, their guest-host setup gave them a chance to have a deeper conversation. According to Vice, Alden even expressed interest in continuing their talks outside the program.
“Nag-aaya siya lumabas. Sabi niya, 'Ituloy natin 'yung kuwentuhan tutal nag-share na ako sa'yo e... Marami pang gusto kong i-share sa'yo,'” the host shared.
Vice also mentioned Ion Perez while talking about Alden's connection with people close to the comedian.
“Mas madalas silang magkasama ni Ion (Perez) kaysa sa akin dahil magkasama sila palagi sa [pagbi-bike],” Vice said.
Despite not spending much time together before the taping, the host believes they may have already started building a good relationship.
“Pero ngayon, I would like to believe na na-start na. Nakasa na 'yung magandang relationship,” Vice said.
Their exchange comes as “Gandang Gabi Vice” returns with new episodes, giving the comedian another chance to sit down with different personalities. Alden's appearance will open the new season of the program.
The pilot episode featuring the actor is scheduled to air on Sunday, September 13, at 10:00 p.m. on GMA Network.

Meanwhile, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board held a formal hearing over the controversial July 24 episode of “It’s Showtime.” The proceedings stemmed from complaints concerning the “Memerimar” skit and the “lugaw” segment, with representatives and legal counsels from “It’s Showtime,” ABS-CBN, GMA Network, ZOE Broadcasting Network, and ALLTV in attendance. The MTRCB instructed the respondents to submit a Joint Position Paper and Joint Undertaking to reinforce compliance with broadcast standards. The board also ordered the networks involved to appoint an On-Air Compliance Officer to help prevent possible violations during live broadcasts.
