Star Magic artist Shanaia Gomez revealed that a male celebrity once sent her messages and appeared interested in meeting her when she was only 14 years old.

Shanaia shared the revelation through a video posted on her Facebook page, where she went through some of the unusual direct messages she had received in the past. Among the conversations she showed was an exchange with a Filipino celebrity whom she described as significantly older than her.
“Well today, I’m gonna be showing you some of the most interesting DMs that I have got. Show the receipts!” Shanaia wrote in the caption of the post.
As she went through the screenshots, Shanaia explained that the person who messaged her was a celebrity and was much older than she was at the time.

“So this is a Filipino celebrity [that is much older than me],” she said.
The messages showed the male celebrity repeatedly asking when they could see each other, despite apparently knowing that Shanaia was still a minor.
Shanaia opted not to identify the celebrity by name, instead leaving clues for her viewers.
“I’m not gonna name drop kung sino ito but let’s just say, happy siya at birthday pa niya,” she said.
The video later gained attention after a Reddit user shared a clip of Shanaia discussing the messages she had received. Several commenters then began speculating about the identity of the celebrity based on the clues she provided.
Some netizens pointed to actor and singer Carlos Agassi as the person they believed Shanaia was referring to. One commenter claimed that the age gap matched the description, while another said the messaging style shown in the screenshots reminded them of Agassi.
Another commenter also shared an alleged personal experience involving a friend who had supposedly received similar messages from the celebrity. The comments, however, remain speculation from netizens and have not been independently established as proof of the person's identity.
Shanaia herself has not publicly named the celebrity in the video. As of the latest information in the report, Carlos Agassi has also not issued a statement addressing the speculation connecting him to Shanaia's post.
