Carla Abellana took to Instagram and shared the post of her cousin, Sam, about how their family was allegedly a victim of the Marcoses.

"Sam is my cousin. And yes, our Grandfather was detained because the Marcoses wanted our 25-hectare property in Sta. Ana all to themselves."

"During Martial Law, my grandfather (like many others) was detained against his will. He didn't do anything wrong or illegal. He just had a good business and some land that the Marcos administration wanted to take over.
