Heart Evangelista shared her perspective on buying fake designer bags and shoes during the latest episode of GMA Comedy’s original game show The People Have Spoken.

During the September 19 episode, the People were asked if they would buy fake designer bags and shoes being sold by an officemate.
Team AiShine, composed of SexBomb Girls Aira Bermudez and Sunshine Garcia, initially believed that the People would choose to buy the items because of practicality.
Aira admitted that she could understand why some consumers would make that choice, particularly when expensive designer products are beyond their budget.

"Kahit ako, mas gugustuhin kong bumili ng fake at praktikal kasi hindi ko afford ang mamahalin," said Aira.

She also pointed out that enjoying a product and being practical could influence a person's decision.
"Sa panahon ngayon, pagiging praktikal at kung na-e-enjoy mo naman ang gamit, why not? Walang masama."
Team GlocYeng, featuring The Voice Kids coaches Gloc-9 and Yeng Constantino, also expected practicality to be a major consideration among the People.
Gloc-9 suggested that consumers could prioritize how useful an item is rather than its brand.
"Feeling ko sa mga taong nandito, hindi nila titingnan kung ano yung tatak. Yung function na lang ng bibilhin nila."
Celebri-peep Baus Rufo shared a similar perspective and even suggested a way for an officemate to help sell the products.
"Kasi dapat praktikal. Napakahirap po ng buhay ngayon. Tsaka ang maganda diyan, 'pag bumili ka, tinulungan mo na sarili mo, tinulungan mo pa yung kaibigan mo," he said.
He then connected the idea of helping a friend with selling the products online.
"Dahil diyan, kung magtutulungan na lang din kayo, ibenta mo rin yung products niya online para naman 'yung paninda peke, pero ang pagkakaibigan, totoo."
With Heart known for her work in fashion, Sean Lucas also asked the actress-host to weigh in on the topic.
"Parang kailangan ko ata mag-class 101 tungkol dito. Kasi ito yung trabaho ko, e. Dito ako kumikita," sabi ng actress-host.
Heart then explained that buying expensive fashion pieces is not inherently wrong when someone can genuinely afford them.
"So ito ang explanation ko, hindi masama na bumili ng mahal kung afford mo. Pero kung hindi mo afford, huwag kang bumili nun because it does not dictate your social status. Sasabihin ko naman din na plastic ako kung sasabihin kong hindi ako bumibili. Pero ako high-end, low-end ako. I know how to make fashion work even if it's not expensive. So ang sagot ko ay [hindi]."
Despite the different opinions from the teams and Baus, the actual response from the People went in another direction.
A total of 59% of the People said they would not buy the fake designer bags and shoes.
As a result, neither Team AiShine nor Team GlocYeng earned a point in that particular round.
