Vice Ganda responded to social media users who criticized his makeup and facial skin in photos and videos from the Preview Ball 2026, turning the online comments into a lighthearted moment on It's Showtime.

The Unkabogable Star brought up the issue while joking around with fellow hosts Vhong Navarro and Ogie Alcasid. Some netizens had commented on Vice’s makeup and visible marks on his face after images and videos from the event circulated online.
“Ay hindi na ako nagpapaganda. Kahit anong pagpapaganda ko, ang pangit ng skin ko doon sa TikTok,” Vice quipped during the episode.
Vhong came to his defense and offered a simple explanation.

“Sa ilaw lang 'yon.”
Vice then joked about how the criticism appeared to shift toward the people responsible for his appearance.
“Na para bang kasalanan ng makeup artist, na kasalanan ko ngayon,” Vice Ganda reacted.
He continued to poke fun at the situation, saying that even efforts to improve one’s appearance could still become a target for online criticism.
“Kahit anong paganda mo, bababuyin ka rin naman sa TikTok, papaganda ka pa!”
Vice also directly addressed those who had been criticizing him online, choosing humor rather than an aggressive response.
“Sa mga nasa TikTok, congratulations; ang gaganda ninyo.”
Despite the jokes, however, Vice eventually shifted the conversation toward a more meaningful reminder, particularly for members of the LGBTQIA+ community who may experience harsh comments or judgment online.
“Pero kahit anong sabihin niyo at kahit anong mangyari, ito lalo na sa ating mga nasa LGBTQIA+ community, kung feeling niyo ang dami sinasabi sa inyo, o feeling niyo nakakawala na ng gana, isipin niyo na lang lagi…”
Vice did not finish the thought with another lengthy statement. Instead, he proceeded to sing “Puede Nang Mangarap,” the trending and viral song by Lyca Gairanod, drawing an enthusiastic reaction from the people inside the studio.
