"6.24.25 💗 Noong una, hindi ko talaga alam kung tama ba na nag-law school ako. Haha 🤣 Pero ngayon, unti-unti kong nakikita na calling pala talaga siya. Somehow, it brought me here, and maybe, exactly where I needed to be."

The actress went on to share that the decision to sit for the exam came on very short notice as well:

"I remember taking the entrance exam just one week before the first day of class because, honestly, hindi talaga ako sure sa ginagawa ko. 😂 Nagulat pa ako nang pumasa ako kasi akala ko hindi ako makakapasok. I was simply taking things one day at a time, not really knowing where this path would lead me."

While the academic load of legal education is notoriously demanding, Yasmien found a sense of comfort:

"Pero ito pala yung paraan para makapag-heal ako dahan-dahan. Along the way, I found so many good friends who eventually became like siblings to me. 💖 And somehow, kahit pagod sa dami ng readings, cases, recitations, at deadlines, I found myself enjoying being busy with something completely different. Law school became my healing ground."
