Taking to his verified Instagram account @rurumadrid8, the actor shared photos from the formal contract signing ceremony, where he looked dashing in an olive-green suit alongside top GMA executives, including GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.

Ruru opened his lengthy tribute with heartfelt gratitude, looking back at where his artistic journey all began:

"From a young boy with a dream, to the man I am today. 💖💙 Naaalala ko nung sumali ako sa Protégé. I was young, excited, nervous, and simply grateful for the chance to chase the dream of becoming an actor. Hindi ko alam noon kung saan ako dadalhin ng journey na ito. I only knew na gusto kong matulungan ang pamilya ko, and I wanted to learn, to grow, and to give everything I had."

The actor revealed that Kai flew home from Japan to speak with Rere Madrid's family about her pregnancy. Ruru said Kai's gesture earned his respect because not every man is willing to face such circumstances. He also admired Kai's humble personality, saying it reminds him of his girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Ruru Madrid openly admitted that he did not expect his younger sister, Rere Madrid, to marry before him after she recently tied the knot with basketball player Kai Sotto. During “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Ruru said he sees Rere’s marriage as one of life’s unexpected but beautiful developments and is happy to see her doing well. He also revealed that he does not believe in the Filipino superstition of “sukob."
