Netizens slam Banana Sundae for actors' darkened skin in Binay skit

'Banana Sundae' recently drew various reactions among netizens because of their skit.

They parodied the controversial rift between Mayor of Makati Abby Binay, and her brother, former mayor Junjun Binay, which happened inside a church.

The actors who portrayed as Binay family sported blackface, which created discussions among netizens.

Some find it offensive while others did not see anything wrong about it.

"A skit was shown in Banana Sundae with the intent of having a spoof of the Binay incident that happened last week. The show just used black face to portray the Binay siblings including their father, our former Vice President.

Dear ABS-CBN , how could you allow such insensitivity to happen? NOT FUNNY AT ALL."
