According to a report by 24 Oras, the woman was taking photos at a tourist site when the accident happened.
A fellow Filipino who witnessed the incident said strong winds were present at the time. However, authorities have not yet confirmed whether the weather directly caused her fall.
The tourist suffered wounds to her head and arm. She also sustained a serious injury to her leg, which required an operation.

The incident happened shortly after 1 a.m. on Wednesday, according to a report by EJ Gomez on GMA’s Unang Balita. CCTV footage showed a man wearing a cap climbing the stairs leading to the house. He stood near the gate and appeared ready to open it when an alarm suddenly went off.
