"Bwahaahahahahahhaahaa yahooo KAHOL PA MORE!!! thank you," she added in her tweet.

Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic.
In a recent social media post, Pokwang stressed that artists like her are supporting VP Leni Robredo for free not because of a network franchise. It can be recalled that hundreds of celebrities and thousands of workers were displaced when giant network ABS-CBN failed to renew its franchise. The comedienne is among the Kapamilya artists who lost work as a consequence, with some of them forced to transfer networks like Pokwang. She said that many GMA and ABS-CBN celebrities are united in supporting VP Leni, meaning it is not about the franchise as the Kapuso network was recently granted another 25 years extension.
In another post, the comedienne reiterated that she doesn’t receive any payment from the campaign of VP Leni Robredo and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan. The comedienne said that her work and performances in the campaign are free and purely voluntary. She also reminded those who support politicians who pay artists to appear in campaign rallies that they will try getting a return on their investment through the sweat of ordinary workers. Pokwang did not elaborate on what she meant, though her statement might be referring to additional taxes.
