The SexBomb member shared her thoughts on Facebook after the group’s recent appearance on Boy Abunda’s Fast Talk, where the members were asked about Rochelle’s leadership. Aira reposted a photo from the interview and added a more detailed explanation of why she continues to respect Rochelle as their leader.
According to Aira, Rochelle’s firm personality can sometimes be misunderstood by people who only see how direct or strict she can be. She emphasized that there is a deeper reason behind the way Rochelle leads the group.
“May mga taong ginagawang bossy ang pagiging matatag, at tinatawag na control freak ang pagiging deretso magsalita. But what they don’t see is the heart behind it all. Rochelle is the kind of leader who will always put the group’s growth above her own career,” Aira wrote.

Aira acknowledged that Rochelle can be strict with the members, but said that she and the rest of the group understand where their leader is coming from. She explained that Rochelle maintains high standards because she wants the members to give their best whenever they perform.
“Strict sya kasi mataas ang standards niya, and she pushes us to have this level of discipline so we can give our absolute best sa lahat ng naniniwala sa talent namin. She just wants to share the blessings, wisdom, and success na pinaghirapan nya. People love to embrace the wins without seeing the silent sacrifices she makes to get us there and that’s okay,” she explained.
Aira also expressed her personal respect for Rochelle, saying that she has seen the hard work behind the group’s achievements.
“I know her heart, I see her hard work, at buong-buo ang respeto ko sa kanya. A true leader who carries us all with pure love,” she added.
The statement drew support from fans, with several commenters agreeing with Aira’s sentiments. Other netizens also praised the SexBomb Girls for the maturity they have shown in allowing Rochelle to lead the group.
Earlier this week, Rochelle also addressed why some SexBomb Girls members were absent from their latest song, “Mama Mama,” which was released earlier this month.

In another report, Pasig City police traced two senior high school students who were allegedly behind threats posted online against two schools. The circulating posts reportedly included images of firearms and ammunition that were supposedly intended for an attack. Police said one of the threats was fabricated, while alleged bullying was cited as a factor in the other student’s case. Authorities are now assessing the students’ possible liabilities and have increased police visibility around schools as a precaution.
Meanwhile, a 14-year-old Grade 10 student in Leyte who admitted creating threatening social media posts about a school is receiving psychological intervention and counseling. Social workers said the teenager had reportedly experienced bullying since Grade 9 and was also facing problems within her family. The student acknowledged making the posts and apologized to her parents following the incident. Police have continued to maintain a security presence at the school, which came under heightened attention after the incident occurred days after the deadly Tacloban school shooting.
