According to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), initial assessments indicate that the student had experienced bullying for more than a year and was also facing difficulties within her family, factors believed to have affected her emotional well-being.

The student reportedly admitted creating the threatening social media accounts and posts. She has also apologized to her parents for her actions.

Authorities said this was the first recorded case of its kind involving a student at Tolosa National High School. Police quickly traced the source of the online threats, leading them to the teenager.

Despite the student's admission, security measures remain in place at the school.

Jose Costiniano Jr. of the Tolosa Police Station said.
