In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News, Sassa shared that her growing visibility sometimes comes with challenges involving her personal life.

“Minsan hindi po. Minsan kasi may invasion sa privacy mo. Pero part ‘yun ng pagiging public figure. Ako naman, ine-embrace ko lang siya.”

While fame has brought her numerous opportunities, Sassa said she continues to embrace the changes that come with being a public figure.

Sassa also spoke about the important role her mother played in shaping her character and keeping her grounded.

The internet personality credited her hardworking mother, who worked as a househelper, for teaching her the importance of humility and remembering her roots.

“My mom always [tells] me na kailangang humble lang, na kailangang [nakatapak] sa lupa lang. Nanggaling ako sa hirap. Ang nanay ko ay kasambahay. Siya ang nagturo sa akin na maging humble.”

Her statement highlighted how her upbringing continues to influence the way she handles her success and relationships with others.

With her growing audience, Sassa acknowledged that not everyone will agree with her views or personality.

“We have [differing] viewpoints. I [hold] a strong opinion. Authenticity lang talaga ‘yung prinsipyo ko sa buhay. Kung ano man ang paniniwala mo, mag-stick ka roon. Magkakaiba naman tayong lahat. Nire-respect ko ‘yung opinion ng bawat isa.”

Her perspective reflects her belief that people can have different opinions while still maintaining mutual respect.

For the first time, Sassa opened up to ABS-CBN News about some of the things she fears most.

Among these is the possibility of losing her mother, whom she considers an important source of strength and guidance.

“Marami akong kinakatakutan. Mawala ang mama ko. Mag-back to zero kami.”

She further explained that her fears are closely connected to her family and the possibility of returning to the financial difficulties they experienced before.

“Takot talaga akong mawala ang mama ko at mag-back to zero. Takot akong maging mahirap ulit kami. Sinabi nga sa akin ni Ms. Odette Khan, lagi ko lang tatapangan. Lagi kong binabaon ‘yun.”

Sassa also shared that the advice she received from veteran artists and mentors continues to inspire her whenever she faces fear or uncertainty.

“Marami akong kinakatakutan. Pero ‘yung mga beteranong artista at mentors na nagsasabing tapangan ko lang, parati kong isinasabuhay ‘yun.”

Her candid admission gave viewers a glimpse of the personal worries behind her cheerful and entertaining public persona.

When asked about her romantic life, Sassa responded with a smile and remained silent while giving what was described as the “Karylle method.”

The lighthearted moment added a playful touch to the interview, as she chose not to share further details about her love life.
